Details about the DUBT tour

Day 1.  Arrival in Chiang Mai

We will pick you up directly from the airport in Chiang Mai and take you to your hotel in the city centre. We will hand over your motorbike to you between 5 and 6 p.m. We will end the evening with dinner together.

Day 2.  Chiang Mai - Chiang Khong (320 km)

After breakfast, there is a short briefing on the motorbikes and the course of the tour, then we head north, past hot springs to Chiang Khong, a border town with Laos. Today's stage is ideal for getting used to the motorbike, as we are travelling on well-developed roads.

Day 3.  Chiang Khong - Bua (288 km)

Today we start our tour along the Mekong and reach one of the most beautiful areas of Thailand, the Phu Chi Fa National Park with the mountain of the same name, Phu Chi Fa, right on the border with Laos. We reach this via scenic and winding roads that then take us to Pua, where we end the day in the hotel.

Day 4.  Bua - Nan (266 km)

We continue on breathtaking roads to the Huai Kon Border Checkpoint (Laos), where we will visit a real border market without any tourist kitsch. Then we come to Bo Kluea where we can watch the salt production. The salt of the same name, Bo Kluea, is one of the few rock salts in the world that is more than 800 years old. Now we continue on great motorbike routes to our hotel in Nan, where we can relax with a massage or by the pool.

Day 5.  Nan - Na Noi (245 km)

Today's journey takes us along dreamy, deserted roads, where silence meets majestic scenery. We cross a region of Thailand that takes us along the Laotian border. Over several majestic mountains, we finally reach Na-Noi, where the Sri Nan National Park with its extraordinary rock formations awaits us before we move into our hotel.

Day 6.  Noi - Sukhothai (238 km)

In the midday hours today we arrive at the mighty Sirikit reservoir, Thailand's gigantic water colossus, with an area of 250 km², it is the largest in Thailand. On the lake, we can watch the hustle and bustle of the fishermen who live on stilt houses. But the climax of our adventure comes when we reach the shore and take the ferry across. The ferry becomes the gateway for our journey to Sukhothai today.

Day 7.  Sukhothai - Mae Sot (247 km)

In the morning after breakfast we explore the historical temples of Sukhothai (in the Khmer style) and then continue our journey to Mae Sot. On the way, we pass a picturesque waterfall and hot springs. Today we spend the night in a first-class hotel with a pool very close to the border crossing to Myanmar.

Day 8.  Mae Sot - Mae Sariang (250 km)

Before we start our journey to Mae Sariang today, we will visit the border market to Myanmar. Today's stage will take us along the border river Nam Yuam, and we will probably check into our hotel right on the river in the early afternoon, where we can relax by the pool or with a massage.
